Default Dr. Doom and the X-men

Are there any X-books you would love to see in 2015?

I would love to see Dr. Doom and the X-men with Doom in a Professor X type role. The premise of the book would be a small fraction of mutants starting to become known in Lateveria. While Doom might not be the biggest proponent of mutants i don't think he would shun his loyal citizens that just happen to have been born mutants. It would be interesting to see what his philosophy on mutant/human relations would be if his country was affected and what he think their mission statement should be. Of course it would also be a great reason to create all new mutants.

I think one of the biggest waste of the X-men/Mutant franchise is that they all have to be lopped together. It would be interesting to see how Wakanda, Laterveria and other countries treat and elevate their mutants and create their own teams of X-men.

I would love a Doom protagonist book in any form. I also wouldn't mind a "Magneto and the X-Men" concept based upon the new world view he's forming in his book.

Yeah, I'd like to see more interaction between the FF and X characters since FOX has the film rights to both and Marvel doesn't seem to want to do much with them. Put them in their own corner and let creators go nuts.

I would read the hell out of a book like that or any book where Doom is the protagonist like Improbable Question said.

I'd like to see the X-Men go to Latveria for the Red Skull. Now THAT would be an interesting story.

That would be cool. In general the Fantastic Four and X-Men should interact more, they are one of the few who haven't screwed over the X-Men. I am tired of the X-Men just interacting with the Avengers as all they do is fight each other.

Doom was shown to lead X-Men in Marvel Adventures: Fantastic Four #47. From what little I could see, he uses wheelchair and has psychic powers.

It's actually an interesting idea. Following the Pheonix incident, it seems there are mutants just popping up like crazy out of nowhere. Someone like Doom could certainly seize the opportunity to grab up a group of young superpowers to form into his own little army. Same as the JSG and Scott's new Xavier school are split, its looking like Magneto is also going to start Genosha back up as a mutant hot spot. Why stop there? Governments and evil organizations could start recruiting new mutants left and right. Even if the X-Men can detect them popping up with Cerebro they've only bothered to scoop up a handful. What happens to the rest of them? Especially after the hell these faceless new mutants just went through under Red Skull and a world which sat compliantly to his war on mutants and horrific concentration camp? More then a few are likely to go crazy evil just on their own!

i suspect that was, at most, a really unintended side effect seeing as it ultimately screwed him over.

his plans for wanda probably amounted more to screwing with the avengers

I don't ever recall Doom having interest in mutant matters during that time.
