Lack of females is for the upcoming Justice League Movies is embarrassing

Marvel is doing Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, and the Infinity Stones. DC/WB is doing WW, Aquaman, and Shazam. So I don't want to hear that magic "is difficult to do."

Not to mention, Zatanna's magic could just as easily be the same as what we saw in the Harry Potter films except with different names for the spells.

Voodoo, Void, Engineer, Phantom Lady can also be used in a JL movie. For new 52 JL, I prefer Engineer over Cyborg.

The best way to go about it is using that New female Lantern instead of the male ones.

No she's not a true Lantern as her Ring is from the Earth 3 but Simon will be her mentor in upcoming stories so its possible she will be official inducted in the corps but as for the the could go the DCAU route like what they did with Wally and John, and introduce her first with a established corps.

And why should we have to wait until sequels? Why are the original films/teams always such sausage-fests? That's the annoying part, they should be doing better from the beginning.

Because:

1) The world is a sexist place.
2) Most executives are clueless.

Those are realities. We can - and should - complain about the suckage of said realities, ask for corrections in both historical and current issues and strive to do better if in position.

But realistically, expecting sucky things to suddenly stop sucking is a recipe for disappointment. Some things take time. If said things are dependent on old, white spoiled man risking their money, they usually take more time. And yes, this does suck, and no, you're not wrong in complaining about it, but I'm glad we at least seem to be moving in a good direction.

Catwoman was already used in the batman movies so should be ok to make Catwoman a JL member in the movies. Catwoman has some similarities to Black Widow.

what about static shock and Vixen? static shock without doubt is the most well known black character from DC. well there is john stewart too

Goldrush literally appeared once what makes her a better choice than Cyborg?

My guess is Goldrush was created to try to have more females in JL. Cyborg can probably be used as the leader of a Titans movie since he will just be overshadowed by Superman and WW in JL.
