This. Morlun was pretty bland on his own, he was basically just a plot device villain to service Straczynski's Totem storyline. Adding X amount more of him with a couple of added wrinkles like 'Old!Morlun' or 'Girl!Morlun' doesn't make it better.

And if the villains were weak, you'd be complaining about how none threatening they were.

Solus the patriarch of the Inheritors, he damn well should be powerful. He's essentially the finally boss.

Man, Captain Universe Spiderman really didn't fight too smart. He should have just punched the head bad guy into orbit, or flung him into the Sun...Sentry style!

I felt that too, in the deepest part of my heart and soul. Compared with this, Norman Osborn resurrecting in Peter's mind and "Superior Spider-Junk" were almost nothing.

This is too much!!!! If there's a line that can't be crossed is turning this part even darker.

As much as I love seeing Mayday in another Spider-Man story, the story as a whole is starting to really drag. I like the concept. I like the action. It's just starting to get bland. That can still change, but I hope this issue picks up the pace.

There is hope for them saving Benjy since Jessica is undercover in their universe and the previous issue of her book ended with her running into Morlun.
