That's the one, yes. "If sarcasm were a superpower, perhaps you'd carry your weight among us". And there's a lovely resolution where Namor almost complements him at the end. Lovely, in character writing.

I love the "Savage genetic imperative" too !... In fact I find all the Namor/Sue story by Morrison in FF1234 just perfect : the best part of the book - and it's a great FF book. Jae Lee at his best makes it shine of course...

Thanks so much for your incredible selection of panels, Johnny Peril ! Those three are all delightful - each one for a different reason...

It's so nice to see you - and Thor-El in the readathon thread - sharing all those nuggets here ! (It seems that Namor's fandom is like an Hydra : you cut one head (sorry...) many others show up ! Before Squadron Supreme we were mostly fed by Rev, and now wonderful scans come from everywhere !...)

THIS! LOL I'm still lurking in this thread although not posting much since my efforts are best concentrated in the readathon. Enjoying all the wonderful scans by Reviresco and now Johnny Peril too!

    Yes, they certainly are snug!

I also find it amusing that Namor apparently wears more to bed than he wears during the day (his speedo). lol

    LOL. Good eye!
Those pajama pants clearly have a powerful influence!

Indeed! But don't let Doom see the cover below...

That is a very striking cover with a disturbing image (with or without 'fingering' puns)--but, come on, Kahn! You're supposed to be the big epic villain for the 25th issue! Couldn't you at least have gotten properly spiffed up for the occasion? Showing up on the cover in your nightgown with your hair still in curlers. Tsk, tsk.

I really did enjoy Marvel Projects ... but this was one of the changes I didn't care for much. But Brubaker did call it right, about Namor finding true friends amongst the enemies of his enemies.

That is a great, if entirely too much tentacled, panel from the Atlas era. I do love quippy Namor.

One of my all time favorite moments! All those years later, Betty Dean saving the day, yet again, and Namor still loves her. I really, really wish we could at least have Betty in Agent Carter.

Thanks for posting those, Johnny Peril!
