    Default Hip Hop Family Tree

Now it isn't so much sour grapes, but Hip Hop Family Tree not making the best of list is just about criminal. Especially given the success and critical acclaim it has had. However, has there ever been a CBR interview with Piskor about his product? Has CBR ever previewed a volume?(actual questions)

This thread is strickly for the educational purpose of informating the CBR crew that yes there is a comic they forgot to put on the Masterlist, that comic is HIP HOP FAMILY TREE. This way we can make sure it makes it next year, yes? And also a topic for discussion for those who have read this wonderful comic about the history of Hip Hop.

Thanks to the others who replied here about our coverage of HHFT. We've covered the book extensively. I'll add that I also had Ed on as a guest on my KFI AM 640 radio show in Los Angeles.

    Awesome. I gladly stand corrected.

Save for the fact that it was left off the 2014 list. Which it could have easly taken a spot give to an issue 1 of the atleast 3 series that, although good first issues, probably haven't proven best of material just yet. HHFT has.

There's always going to be comics we'd like to see on any list that don't make it to that list, for whatever reason. I haven't read this one, so I have no opinion as to its merits.

    Still in the mid 1980's.

Latest was about U.T.F.O.'s Roxanne, Roxanne.

Being serious , I didn't even know this book existed. It looks fun.
