    Default 1000 books in 2015

One of my New Year Resolutions was to read more comics, more precisely read at least 1000 comics in 2015.
Anyone want to join me in this quest? Maybe with a different number of books?
We could use this topic to discuss what we're reading!

1 comic equals a regular 22 page comic, since I only read TPB's and HC's, I'm going to count the number of issues each of them contains.
One OGN equals 1 comic. Same goes for European Comics or Manga volumes.

    READ IN 2015
    Amazing Spider-Man v1 643-652
    Amazing Spider-Man v1 698-700
    Superior Spider-Man 1-15
    Wolverine 66-72
Wolverine Giant-Sized Old Man Logan 1
Marvel Universe vs The Punisher 1-4
    Kick @ss 1-8
    Kick @ss 2 1-7
    Kick @ss 3 1-8
    Hit-Girl 1-5
    House of M 1-8
    World War Hulk 1-5
    Secret Invasion 1-8
    Siege: The Cabal
    Siege 1-4
    Fear Itself 1-7
    X-Men: Schism 1-5
    Avengers Vs X-Men 0-12

Can't commit to a 1000 (that's about 3 per day, not a stretch by any amount but still lol...).

I think I did less than 1/2 of that for 2014...mostly newer comics.
    Kings 21:23
And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.

I read over 1000 Spider-man comic books in 2013 in the "500 Spider-man comic books in 2013" thread on the old board and over 1600 comic books in 2014 just because I wanted to keep track of what I've been reading, so I'll probably hit 1000 this year.

Threads like this can be fun, so thanks, Radjack.

    There's no way I can do 1.000.
I will challenge myself to read 365 comics in 2015 averaging 1 per day.
Even this will be difficult... I am already behind.

So far I've been catching up with some spider-man (issues 643 - 647) and read the first 3 issues of Kick Ass!
This is going to be a fun year! Glad to see people joining me on this!

1,000 22-page comics in a year? Easy. I thought maybe you were talking collected editions. I once read every single issue of Uncanny X-Men and every single issue of X-Men vol 2 in less than 6 months time....and I read other comics during that 6 months, too!

You can always choose to read more!
That being said I'll probably pass the 1000 comics halfway through the year!

    This.
This sounds good to me. Count me in for this one. And I, too, am already behind.
I may not meet this goal, but I am going to try.

Well I don't have quite have as much time as I did back then now that my oldest is 4 years older and we now have another one, too! But I still tear through collected editions at a fast rate. I lost track of what I read in 2014, but I'm sure it was over a thousand issues.
