    Future Foundation #1-23/ Fantastic Four #600-611/ 605.1
One of the most impressive achievements in Marvel. One thing I want to focus on is the amount of time Hickman spends on the aftermath of the big story, tying up loose ends in a very satisfying way.

    Uncanny X-Men #244-245/251-253/ 269
Borrowed the first Jim Lee Omnibus from my library. Didn't really care for it.

    Fantastic Four Volume 1 #35-40/ Annual 2
Generally excellent. Arguably the period when this run got really good.

    Thief of Thieves #1-13
Satisfying capers. Very decompressed, so it probably reads much better in single sittings.

    Superior Foes of Spider-Man #1-9/ 12-17
Even more fun than the above.

    The Incal Books 1-6
Beautiful art and clever concepts. So ripped off that it doesn't always feel that original, although the storytelling is genius.

    Total So Far: 420 Issues
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

    Update:

Thor God of Thunder ohc v2 (12-25) & Thor (1-3) - Want to give Aaron some props. The only other Thor related series I ever gave a crap about was gillen's JiM, and that focused on loki. That has changed thanks to his run, and reading the first few issues of the new Thor series the plot threads laid early on continue to slowly be unveiled, showing to me at least this female Thor has been in the works from the beginning.

Original Sin 5.1-5.5 - This dealt with the aftermath of Thor learning of his sister's existence. I'll have to admit, after rolling my eyes when I heard what marvel had decided to do with Angela upon gaining her rights, the way Aaron wove her and the the tenth realm in general into the mythos was surprisingly satisfying. Unfortunately the climax of the story was very anticlimactic.

Deadpool ohc v2 (13-25) - I've now read 25 issues of the new Deadpool and have decided it's just not that great. My favorite arc so far was in this book, however, and it involved wolverine and captain america. Don't know if if I'll get the next or not, that collectors ocd might get me.

Spider-Man: Blue (1-6) - Absolutely loved it. What a beautiful story. Loeb did a masterful job writing a loveletter to spiderman's past while still managing to keep things modern. What i thought slott should have done with spiderman/human torch. I look forward to his other color themed mini's.

GOTG & X-men: Black Vortex (13) - Admittedly I'm a fan of both Bendis' guardians and xmen, but this wasn't very good. It really felt unnecessary and the status quo changes for certain characters at the end left me cold. Will be interesting to see how that's handled post secret war.

    Lazarus #1-9
Good cinematic effort by Rucka and Lark, as they depict a fully realized fictional future through the infighting of a family and the POV of one of their guardians.

    Stumptown #1-4
    Solid slacker noir.

    Doctor Strange #1-2/4-5
Trippy Doctor Strange story. Kinda generic as he's caught in a magic trap, although it does have some significant changes.

Doctor Strange: What Is It That Disturbs You Stephen?
Beautiful art by P Craig Russell, with an okay story that is generic Doctor Strange.

    Ghost Rider #20-35/ Heaven's on Fire #1-6
Quick read, although the omnibus has a cover price of 50 bucks, which makes up for any sense of disappointment. Accessible an doften Ghost Rider story that does kinda feel like Preacher-lite.

Batman #666/ Damian Son of Batman #1-4
Solid beautifully illustrated alternate future. The narrative ends kind of quickly.

    Rival Schools #0:
    Awful video-game tie-in.

    Total So Far: 466 Issues
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

This update is quite big as I just realised I haven't updated since page 12. I have started a couple of other books but I'll leave them until next time. Like my last update I have given each book I've read an overall score out of ten.

    UNCANNY X-MEN: Vol 1 Omnibus - [8/10] (*24 ISSUES)
ANNIHILATION CONQUEST: OHC Book Two - [7/10] (14 ISSUES)
PUNISHER MAX: Long Cold Dark - [9/10] (5 ISSUES)
FANTASTIC FOUR: Vol 1 Omnibus (Hickman) - [8/10] (30 ISSUES)
    UNCANNY X-MEN: Vol 2 Omnibus - [8/10] (34 ISSUES)
IMMORTAL IRON FIST: Complete Collection 1 - [8/10] (19 ISSUES)
IMMORTAL IRON FIST: Complete Collection 2 - [8/10] (18 ISSUES)
TOMB OF DRACULA: Vol 1 Omnibus - [7/10] (36 ISSUES)
    DAREDEVIL: Born Again - [9/10] (7 ISSUES)
    SPIDER-MAN: Big Time Ultimate Collection 1 - [7/10] (16 ISSUES)
CAPTAIN AMERICA: Movie Adaptation + Winter Soldier Prelude - [6/10] (3 ISSUES)
FANTASTIC FOUR: Vol 2 Omnibus (Hickman) [8/10] (31 ISSUES)
    AVENGERS ASSEMBLE: OHC 1 - [7/10] (12 ISSUES)
    AVENGERS: Avengers Forever - [7/10] (12 ISSUES)
HELLBLAZER: Vol 2 The Devil You Know - [6/10] (8 ISSUES)
JUDGE DREDD: Case Files Vol 1 - [7/10] (16 ISSUES?)
BLACK SCIENCE: How To Fall Forever [7/10] (6 ISSUES)
    TASKMASTER: Unthinkable [7/10] (4 ISSUES)
LEGION OF MONSTERS: OHC - [7/10] (14 ISSUES)
    MEGALEX - [6/10] (7 ISSUES)
PUNISHER MAX: Valley Forge [8/10] (6 ISSUES)
PUNISHER MAX: Girls in White Dresses [8/10] (5 ISSUES)
    ROYAL BLOOD HC - [5/10] (5 ISSUES)
    FOOLKILLER MAX: Fool's Paradise [7/10] (5 ISSUES)
DEATH DEFYING DR MIRAGE - [7/10] (5 ISSUES)
FOOLKILLER MAX: White Angels [8/10] (5 ISSUES)
PUNISHER MAX: Six Hours to Kill [8/10] (6 ISSUES)
CAPTAIN AMERICA: Vol 1 Omnibus (Brubaker) - [9/10] (28 ISSUES)
PUNISHER MAX: Welcome To The Bayou - [8/10] (5 ISSUES)
UBER: Vol 1 Enhanced HC - (6 ISSUES)
PUNISHER MAX: Naked Kills - [7/10] (4 ISSUES)
PUNISHER MAX: Untold Tales - [7/10] (5 ISSUES)
DR STRANGE: Season One - [6/10} (5 ISSUES)
    THOR: Season One - [6/10] (5 ISSUES)
    DAREDEVIL, SPIDER-MAN, HULK: Yellow, Blue & Gray OHC - [8/10] (18 ISSUES)
    WOLVERINE: Omnibus (Millar) - [8/10] (21 ISSUES)

So that gives me 449 Issues from this update. Adding the 211 Issues from the last one gives me 660.

Both Uncanny X-Men Omnis were great reads, roll on number 3. I thought Iron Fist was awesome as well so might grab some other stuff with him. Hellblazer vol 2 was a bit out there, prefered volume 1. Punisher Max is simply brilliant, will read the Aaron omni soon. Tomb of Dracula was a very slow starter but really picked up in the second half, I might leave it a bit before starting vol 2 though. Megalex was a weird Humanoids book (shock). Ive read bru cap vol 1 before but I'm about to read all the civil war ohc's so thought this could do with a re-read. Yellow, Blue & Gray was very enjoyable with Yellow being my fave. Finally the Millar Wolverine omni was surprisingly a very fun ride.

"Para bellum. Sic vis pacem, para bellum. Every dawn, the boot camp sergeant made them recite it like a prayer. A litany. A declaration. Sic vis pacem, para bellum. The hitman's name is Billy "The Beaut" Russo. The Costas love him so dearly, they've made him fireproof. But there's fireproof and fireproof. Sic vis pacem, parabellum." -Frank "Punisher" Motherloving Castle.

how did you like Daytripper, Walking dead, Irredeamable, Sleeper, TMNT?
From your to -read list my favorites are:
Metabarons (I think it's better than the Incal, although quite different too, both story and the visuals)
    New Frontier
    Blacksad
    All Star Supes
    PLANETARY!!!!!

    But it's 98% a very strong list. Except Dial H which I couldn't finish.

    Some more.

Chrononauts #1-4: Fun mini series about time travel. Might be minor Mark Millar, but that's still pretty good.

Starlight #1-6: I almost feel like this was written to be sent as a movie pitch to aging action stars, with the explanation that it's Buck Rogers meets Gran Torino. Excellent stuff. Gorgeous art.

Action Comics #714, 719: Good related Superman VS Joker one-offs.

    Wytches #1-6:
Sets up the mythology for a new type of monster very well.

Hitman #1-7: When the Tarantino influence hit comics. The second arc is particularly strong, combining humor with loss and a memorable villain.

Legends of the Dark Knight #142-145: Easy concept (Ras Al Ghul teams up with the Joker) executed pretty well.

Marvel Team Up #59-60: Claremont and Byrne raise the stakes of the team-up as it seems like a founding Avenger got himself murdered.

Dream Police #1-5: Solid mystery and world-building by JMS, who has the balls to explore the world of dreams post-Sandman.

    Thief of Thieves #14-29:
Diggle takes over as writer without missing a beat. I like the sense of escalation, and the differences between arcs.

Doctor Strange #57: Funny oneoff as wannabes try to become Strange's apprentice.

Doctor Strange: Triumph & Torment- In which Stern and Mignola turn an obscure Gerry Conway solo Doctor Doom story into the basis for Strange's greatest challenge (as well as the story in which he becomes the Sorceror Supreme.)

    That comes to 530 issues.

Best comic of the bunch: Ten Thousand Bullets from Hitman #4-7. Has one of the series' funniest concepts, with the crime boss seeking revenge for the death of his siamese twin and a great enemy in the guy specializing in taking out the world's best hitmen.

Coincidences: Two comics have the same cliche of doctored security camera footage being undone by a missing detail.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

I really liked the first few issues but when it ended I was like "that's it? that's all?"
It felt short and basically there was nothing there other than the basic promise (old scifi hero goes back to kick some backsides).

Also: is your profile pic a Lego Alan Moore or Rasputin or something completely different?

Ranking the ones you asked about, with the top being most liked:

    1. Walking Dead
    2. Sleeper
    3. Daytripper (I need to read it again, honestly)
    4. Irredeemable
    5. TMNT

That being said, I liked all of them quite a lot, and LOVED Walking Dead and Sleeper. I've heard Irredeemable falls off a bit in the middle but has a great ending, so I need to finish it. From your recs, I think I'll do Planetary the soonest. Right now I'm on issue 28 of Preacher so I want to finish it first.
