1000 books in 2015

3 days into the year and my reading tally is 0.

I'll get around to it sometime, still have a large assortment of books to unpack.

No hurry though, half of the fun is knowing you own the book and can get to it when you please.

Quick question about the rules: is the count based on titles or reads? By which I mean, what happens if we read the same issue twice in a year. I tend to read every issue I buy twice, and would like to be sure if they count once or twice.

I would count a book read twice as two issues.

I don't think a fun activity like this should have any real hard and fast rules. If you read the same book twice I don't see why it shouldn't count.

Challenge accepted (too)!!. As I mostly read French Bandes Dessinées and anthologies (Spirou: 50 pages, 2000AD: 30 pages, DHP ..) I will count the overall pages and divide it by 22.
I am almost at 12 in 4 days.

I did that easy last year, probably closer to 1500 maybe more. This year I won't be reading any until near the end of this month. I guess it depends on how you manage spare time. Most late evenings this year I wasn't watching any TV or films and only reading comics so I was getting through at least five issues a night. Just did the maths and that's over 1800 so I probably did over 2000 easy ha ha

I finished Kick Ass late last night and read some more ASM. Tonight I'm thinking of tackling Kick Ass 2!
I'm also planing on reading every event Marvel put out in the last few years, starting with House of M!

I just a few questions before I decide that I am in if that is ok:

1.)Some books I have already read I plan to go back and re-read this year for various reasons, some to tie in with events and other shorts. So does re-reading a book from the past count??

2.)When keeping track, do I post a new post each time with what I read or add to one post overall, aka just re-edit my original post of the list?

3.)Issues that we get Online count, they don't have to be physical copies, they can be online issues or the ones we get on collections on DVD-ROMS?

4.)When we are doing Manga, allot of Manga's have several chapters in a book, do we count the chapter as 1 issue or the whole book as 1 issue?
