Probably because the artist is only familiar with the most recent run of NW. Thrash was dead at the time (though has since been resurrected in Contest of Champions), so he didn't appear. Silhouette did, along with a new Sun Girl (who's on the left of that art below Ironheart's arm).

I agree. Shuri is also still wearing the Panther costume, not her current garb, so it's probably a safe bet that this isn't a recent rendering.

It is recent - that Ironheart armor is only a couple of months old. Shuri and Bishop just have outdated costumes for some reason.

I like the idea of Monica being part of a substitute Fantastic Four, called into duty by one of Reed's failsafe programs whenever the original FF disappears for too long. In fact, I'd have her spell one of the original members from time to time. A team of Sue, Monica, Ben and Johnny would still make for a good read (sorry, pun).

No doubt, it's up there with many of the old school issues of FF, but exponentially better because Monica, Adam and Galactus were featured heavily in it. I personally would have been fine moving on from Black Panther and Captain Marvel/Binary and replacing them with Jane Thor and maybe Dr. Strange or someone like that, but all moot now.

Binarys cosmic nature and awareness (the physical connection she had with the universe) was underutilized however imo

And black panther's got the scientific and financial resources (maybe not knowledge) much more than brashear. Though not on board with the "tiger god" resolution
