It would be interesting to see how they would re-vamp Hangman.

I really can't wait till May for FCBD so we can see who the 4th hero is.
    Pulls:
Coffin: La Muerta, Lady Death, Hellwitch. Valiant: Shadowman. DC: Poison Ivy.

And a bit of the stuff from the old series, his first few stories I mean.

Could go either way . . . how many people may just flee Marvel when they get over-saturated by Secret Wars titles and HYPE-HYPE-HYPE?

(I hadn't been reading much Marvel because of the CONSTANT event-it is, but have started to slowly, carefully drift back a little.)

I'm guessing that a vast majority of Marvel's reader demographics don't match Archie's Dark Circle reader demographics (or is it vice versa?).

Btw, have yet to read Black Hood #1, though it's at the top of my to-read pile! >_>
Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. -- Grant Morrison, 2008

trade-waiting - Ice Cream Man, Monstress

backlog - Blade of the Immortal, Mignolaverse, Promethea, X-Cutioner's Song

judging by the sales charts...any marvel events tends to outsell everything else....so yeah

    It's not a mini I don't think, it's listed as a ongoing haha.

Also welcome The Hangman to Dark Circle Comics!

He's referring to the mini that already came out, about a year or two ago. He's not saying the Dark Circle comic is going to be a mini, just saying he doesn't have a point of reference for it.

At first I wasn't thrilled about the Hangman, but seeing that cover art and the description, I'll be buying issue #1 to give it a go. A nice contrast to The Shield and The Fox; and I love the quote "a squee load of people are gonna get hanged". I like gritty realism thrown in; a true vigilante should pile of the corpses ala Paul Kersey.

Haha, I read that wrong. I thought he was asking what to expect with this mini XD and that he has never read a mini before lol. Really my mistake haha.

Ya, I think The Hangman sounds interesting, I buy into the vigilante that kills. It makes sense for a real like world. Plus, I love who they picked to work on the title.
