Loved the issue. Best comic I have read in a file, will be adding this title to my stack every month.
That was the one thing that got me. If I'm remembering correctly she was 15 when she met/Joined the Young Avengers. The 'she's 14' part kind of threw me off. Even if Doom de-aged her when he brought her back the parents would still consider her birth date the same...

Depending on his educational experience, she might be.
I mean, when I was 15, I was in "middle school".
That would be 9th grade right? The way my schools were set up, the middle school, or Junior High, was 7th - 9th and the High School was 10th - 12th.
But I'm learning that isn't common. <shrug>
I'm glad someone dug this thread back up because I finally got to read this issue last night - had to settle for digital since I couldn't find a hard copy :c - and I can't say enough about how much I loved it. This instantly became my favorite series last night. It was was touching and funny and just plain satisfying. I hope hope hope Marvel doesn't ruin this series by uprooting it!
I went to two different schools.
The first had "middle school" as grades 7-9 and "senior school" as 10-12.
The second school didn't have a middle school at all. It was just "junior school" from 1-7 and "senior school" from 8-12.
That being said, according to wiki, apparently 6-8 is "middle school" while the 7-9 model is "junior high."
It's splitting hairs, really.
