Hey. As stated, there are a few threads kicking around somewhere. This one is a "What's everyone's take at the halfway point?" thread...

And I'm sure there are several others.
Part of the problem is the two months between issues.
Issue #6 came out on July 25th, 2018; issue #7 is scheduled for September 26th, 2018.
I don't know if issue #8 has even been solicited yet? (November 28th may be the likely date for that.)
Issue #8 - December 5th
Issue #9 - January 23rd
Disappointed, of course, by another delay (#8) but wow is that going to be a huge week for DC Comics. Here are just the books I'm most excited about from DC that week. Any one of these issues, including the latest chapters of Batman and JL (since I'm bowled over by both runs), would have me rushing to my LCS as soon as they have their books out.
This is an incredible number of comics from one publisher in a single week to be this excited by:
Doomsday Clock #8
Shazam #1
Martian Manhunter #1
Batman #60
Justice League #13
The Green Lantern #2
Batman: Damned #2
Deathstroke #38
Though it's way off topic and this thread will likely fall off the front page quickly or be combined with the myriad D-Clock threads, I'll go a little further to show how DC has something I'm super excited by every single week through January. To be clear, these are only the comics I'm SUPER excited about. They're not a comprehensive list of everything I'm getting/I like from DC, only the ones I can't wait to read...

I haven't been so excited for so many comics from my all-time favorite publisher since Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen first hit the stands. So many exciting new series'. So many truly terrific ongoings. So many creative team upgrades.
And on top of all that, I'm such an enormous fan of Heroes in Crisis and Doomsday Clock so far I can't even believe they're being published at the same time. Either one would have me over the moon with excitement. But it's not just one or the other; it's both of them plus an incredible number of other DC stuff I can't wait to get my hands on.
The best era for DC Comics (incl. Vertigo) was certainly post-Crisis when we got DKR and Watchmen and Man of Steel and JLI and so many incredible DC/Vertigo runs. And they came directly on the heels of New Teen Titans at the height of its greatness and a little book called Crisis on Infinite Earths. And of course Moore's Swamp Thing, Morrison's Animal Man, Gaiman's Sandman, Milligan's Shade... So many more... Those few years almost can't be touched.
But, to me, DC is closer to the greatness of those years than it ever has been before or since.
Back on topic, I freaking love Doomsday Clock. It has no business being as great as it has been so far.
