X-Men Legacy: 208-225 is one of my favourite stories ever.

Before it I just thought Xavier was okay,
a character important to the X-men but more of a guide for the other characters.

After that arc he was one of my top characters.

Also don't forget to throw the Illuminati stuff for extra greatness.

Actually now that I think about it Xavier has been on the road to being one of my top characters for a while before the Legacy arc.
It was just the cherry on top.
