I've been trying to figure out if Howard's upcoming trip to Peru has anything to do with anything that's been hinted at in the MCU yet. If it's 1947, the formation of SHIELD must be already well into the planning stages. It's not like he and Chester Phillips just decided to found it one day over beers and darts.

Why exactly is the Amazon exclusive Blu-ray for Season 1 now unavailable to buy now?

well the SSR is pretty much devolving into corruption, so SHIELD needs to be appearing soon. It's a shame they didn't start any of that leg work this season, it would have really improved the season as opposed to more isolated threats. If they get renewed, big if, they really need to jump ahead a year or two and start with the early years of SHIELD and bring in Hank Pym and maybe Janet once the movies have cast her and the tv show could just borrow the actress cast for young Janet.

Shying away from the tie ins has hurt Agent Carter imo, closest thing we got to a tie in recently was Jarvis saying he didn't want to be a disembodied voice and Stark showing off the prototype for what will become Coulson's Lola.

It is way too early for Pym. Assuming that the character is the same age as the actor they would need to jump to the 60's in order to bring him in as a young adult.

In the Ant-Man movie Pym was an active agent during the 60s and 70s. Too big of a leap.

I didn't think there was THAT much difference between Hank and Carter. Peggy was like 90ish in Cap 2 and Hank is what 80?

Michael Douglas was 69-70 while filming Ant-Man. Peggy would be 15 years his senior.

Douglas was born in 1944 so that makes him 3 this season.

Probably because they want to make people wait for the complete series set.

Or because it wasn't selling well enough. TV shows on DVD or Blu-Ray are on their way out, I'm afraid. The networks and studios would prefer you stream them so they can control availability, make you pay repeatedly for a subscription, and force you to watch commercials.

Unless peggy is 19 this season, those are 2 wildly different ages for Hank Pym xD

Why would he be Douglas's exact age?

It's been out for at least a month now, and most likely, Amazon sold out of their stock. Either they only had contracted a limited run, or else they just decided it wasn't doing well enough to make more. But as of right now, the best bet for getting Season 1 is from the UK.

Why wouldn't he be? They made him look like he did in the 80's for his 1980's scene in Ant Man. That matches up with his real age.
