impact was quite good. only 4 matches but all 4 got plenty of time and delivered.

EY vs roode submission match was another great addition to their series, i do hope this closes the door on their feud though and they both move on to new things. this really felt PPV quality imo. they messed up by announcing the match as submission ahead of time and then the mic work between EY and roode set it up as being impromptu. also i don't like when they have a no DQ match yet enforce rope breaks. it really makes no sense.

angelina vs gail was solid. i liked angelina's pre match promo, it was good to see her in that frame of mind again. good work by both ladies and made angelina seem legit again which i think she and the division needed.

bram vs magnus falls count anywhere i really enjoyed. the stuff with storm not so much but maybe it's leading to something. james storm vs magnus could be interesting. this also would not have been out of place on PPV.

lashley vs angle was good, not as good as the last but still good. it was more along the lines of what i xpected from a lashley/angle match and that's why i thought the last was better. also the finish was kind of dumb.

i think samuel shaw is drawing the pictures used on screen match up graphics.

i was disappointed not to see the BDC or drew and his boys. i markt last week when i saw shaun ricker, camacho not so much but still ricker is great and i hope he gets an opportunity to show what he's got.

Yes, Impact continues to be good but I was hoping for Lashley to win back the belt. I'm not much of a fan of Angle.

Impact right now consist of solid matches but their storytelling is pretty poor whether it's the storylines or mic work. It feels corny to me. I can never by into whatever Drew Galloway is doing for example.

drew's "RAH RAH pro wrestling" bit is a bit tired, especially if you watch the indys he works, and doesn't make a lot of sense when it comes to feuding with the BDC but i think MVP, james storm, roode, aries, EC3, EY, and angle all do good mic work and get their stories across pretty well.

    impact was pretty good.

opening angle/lashley/EY segment was pretty good and i get now why EY went over roode in that last match. it would be too soon to go back to roode vs angle or lashley again. for as much of a flop as EY's title reign is looked upon as i have no problem forgetting his past years as a comedy jobber now and i think his title reign is a big part of that. i never thought i'd actually enjoy EY but i have to admit that i do. maybe not as a champion but as an occasional contender.

gail vs kong was very good. they still have great chemistry but i'd like to see kong get some fresh meat.

the revolution segment was cool but i completely missed sanada getting booted from the group, when did that happen?? the 3 way match was short but had some cool spots. khoya winning though was....kind of shitty. james storm is a great tag specialist but i'm not sure if even he can get much out of khoya as a tag partner.

rising promo was OK, drew is good and ricker is great on the mic but i'm the we love pro wrestling stuff is already kind of played out, hopefully they shift focus onto just fighting the BDC soon.

the match was a good debut for ricker and micah and i got xactly what i asked for as soon as i heard joe was leaving with homicide replacing him. i just wish cide and ki were in the tag tourney. hopefully they use those 2 as a team to fill the gap left by the wolves.

davey vs DJZ was cool. wish DJZ could've got in a little more offense, he is the former x-division champion of the 2.

promo for dollhouse productions, well the KO division just got a little bit stronger with the addition of mia yim/jade. marti belle i haven't seen but i know she works shine and WSU. vel vel is not missed, but where the hell is havok??

tag tourney is looking ok, EC3 & bram seem like an odd pairing. this thing looks like it's set up to put the titles on the hardys which is fine by me. i think there's better teams they could've put in.

angle/EY/lashley title match was pretty good. nice job putting the wrap on angle/lashley and keeping EY in contention.

TAZ is actually more valauble to the WWE. He would be a great host for Tough Enough. Better at play by play on NXT than anybody the WWE has.Maybe they could bring back evil Don West at a cheaper rate. Hell, maybe even be a bit more progressive and bring in Ivory.

IOU wrestling should have restructured a long time ago. They should have few exclusive contracts and everybody else should be able to find work where ever they want except WWE.A TV deal is a great attraction to Indy talent. Be a showcase for great Indy matches. Keeps your show fresh with new fresh match ups. Something the WWE cant do. Hell, even advertise other promotions, so they will loan out talent to you. Become a Super Indy.

    - TNA wrestlers are reportedly dealing with pay issues. Some of the wrestlers have reached out to PWInsider recently and one claims the company is behind two pay periods while others claim they are still owed money from February. Due to TNA not having live events booked for the talents, the pay issues have become a source of aggravation as the talents work to make up their income on the indies.

Another source at TNA's offices in Nashville backs up the pay reports. Issues with payment have been a growing source of frustration at the TNA offices for a few weeks now as well. One source there denied that the company is behind two pay periods but did admit they are behind on cutting checks to wrestlers. Apparently it's something officials have been trying to get under control this past week.

TNA no longer cuts checks in Nashville as they are now outsourced to a company in Dallas, where TNA parent company Panda Energy is located. To add to that, Panda recently moved their offices and while that was going on, the department handling TNA checks completely shut down. This led to a backlog on checks being issued to TNA.

Another issue is that TNA taped so many One Night Only pay-per-view events with outside talents in Orlando during their last set of tapings. This left them faced with a lot of payroll expenses while the company was not generating revenue from the tapings as those ONO events won't air for several months. This led to checks for those talents being on a backlog also.

Sort of sounds like the way some talked about the Crocket era of WCW and ECW in their Rise and Fall DVD's. The in-ring product for TNA is pretty good these days (granted that's subjective but I think most would agree there's some improvement at least over TNA say a year or two ago) but financial stuff might end up killing the company.

It's why Vince has to be considered the greatest wrestling promoter of all time. It's not just about telling good stories and booking good matches (though that's certainly important), it's about running a profitable business.
