Honestly there's no reason why the new Green Arrow book shouldn't just be a Green Arrow and Black Canary one. As a fan of both(though i love Dinah more) I'd support in a heartbeat.

I think Percy is on record as thinking of it as a Green Arrow and Black Canary book (though maybe like how Hawkman was more often then not basically a Hawkman and Hawkgirl book).

I don't know. Maybe because I grew up with Smallville, Kevin Smith and The Longbow Hunter/Mike Grell''s era of Green Arrow, I much preferred the hooded archer look. It adds an era of mystery and allure to his look that works for his character if anything.

My exposure to GA has been the CW-Verse and Rebirth versions so I've only known him with a hood.

The hood is not practical from an archer/crime fighter perspective. It impairs your peripheral vision--especially at night. By the way, Kevin Smith stuck with tradition and kept Ollie's hat. Let Batman have the mystery and allure. It suits him better. Way better. Grell is a fine writer, but I'm really not fond of his visual interpretation of GA.
