You get hardcover autographs on the title page, like you would a book. If they want to do a sketch they can do it on the inside cover. Just never get the dustjacket signed people

In addition to the signed DD and Elektra Omnibuses, I have:
Apache Skies TPB, signed by Ostrander on the cover
Batman: Gotham Noir (Prestige Format) signed by Brubaker on the cover
TMNT Ultimate Collection Vol. 1 Variant HC signed and sketched in by Eastman
The Tooth HC signed by Bunn and sketched in by Kindt
Strongman TPB signed by Soule

I lucked into almost all of those buying second hand. The TMNT Eastman and DD/Elektra ones I actually got in person.
I will stick to the book featuring signatures of artists that I have physically meet for this signing (the other one are mostly displayed on my blog):
Elektra Assassin t1 (1988 Delcourt French edition) signed and drawn by Bill Sienkiewicz. As the convention took place during the production of Stray Toaster he has also kindly do a drawing on a separate drawing paper (for free, these were different times)
Watchmen t1 (1988 Zenda French edition) signed by Alan Moore and signed by dave Gibbons on a separate drawing paper with a Rorschach pencil
V for Vendetta t3 (1988 Zenda French edition) signed by both Moore and Lloyd, with a tiny sketches of V
Comics Unmasked Anarchy in the UK, exhibition's HC book signed by Pat Mills, kevin O'Neill and Paul Gravett (the curator)
These are my Sienkiewicz sketches:

A few years ago, my girlfriend got me a copy of the 30th-anniversary edition of "The Dark Phoenix Saga." She got it signed by Chris Claremont, John Byrne and Stan Lee, with a sketch by Byrne.
