Who would you like to see write the Hulk series?

Please feel free to comment and tell us why you would want the writer, or writers, that you've chosen to helm a series involving the Green Goliath?

Peter David Greg Pak Mark Waid Ed Brubaker

One of these writers would be good.

I personally think Simon Spurrier would be great for Hulk. He has already written great books and has shown he can handle multiple personalities with Legion in X-men legacy.

I would really like to see Kelly Sue Deconnick write Hulk. I like Captain Marvel and would like to see how she does with another solo. She can be pretty humorous and doesn't neglect the supporting cast.

3 of the 4 you listed have already written Hulk before.

Greg Pak and Peter David were awesome.

Mark Waid's run was bland, boring, and mostly mediocre.

Kieron Gillen, he could give Hulk a cool deconstruction-treatment.
    Still love his Uncanny X-Men-run.

I know for a fact that Geoff Johns has a full run of both Hulk and Iron Man planned out. I'd love to see his Hulk one day, when Duggan is done.

That said, Lemire, Spurrier or Morrison are the dream.
You are my favorite thing, Peter. My very favorite thing.

I voted for Parker, he did a pretty good job on various satelite Hulk books so I say he deserves a run on the main title

Kelly Sue DeConnick because if Peter David can be great writing X-Factor after Hulk then I figure KSD can be awesome after Norman Osborn and Carol Danvers KSD Smash!

Cullen Bunn. I wouldn't mind a little horror in my Hulk. Plus, he wouldn't offend me like every other writer that takes on Hulk invariably does.

CB's taking over Moon Knight, now, if only he could take over Hulk after Duggan and I'd be estatic!

Eh, I think after Hulk's been deconstructed enough for now.

I'd much rather see a reconstruction at this point.

Robert Venditti. His work not including his DC stuff has been amazing.

Interesting. I didn't care for her Avengers Assemble series, and I haven't read much of her Captain Marvel... So I really wouldn't know if she'd be a good choice or not. It'd be interesting to see her on a Hulk mini-series.

I don't think Hulk needs any deconstruction-treatment at all. However, I do love Gillen's Journey Into Mystery. Very entertaining. Wouldn't mind his take on the Hulk.

Yes, his other Hulk books have been pretty good. I say he's definitely earned a shot at writing the character. I'd definitely want him onboard if Paul Pelletier joined him as the artist.

I've read some of his stuff and found it pretty good. I think he'd make a very intriguing choice to write the Hulk.
