"It is wrong to assume that art needs the spectator in order to be. The film runs on without any eyes. The spectator cannot exist without it. It ensures his existence." -- James Douglas Morrison
Original splash by Dale Keown from HULK #372 after the skin-tearing transformation;
Unpublished cover to HULK #369...Keown again.
Argh....I can't find another Kewon piece from issue #369...another alternate transformation panel with the Hulk facing towards the reader...
But I did find an un-used cover by Jeff Purves from issue #359.
Hunh. Wasn't expecting this....

So what was the final word on Starlin's Savage Hulk after this article? 4 issues and that's it?

at least its something. sure, would be nice if it were a longer run. but i'm more puzzled over this supposed embargo on Adam Warlock. that just seems....odd.
Name that Hulk from Marvel Age...now name those issues!
Original version of HULK #193 by Herb Trimpe.
A very Buscema-looking Hulk sketch by Gary Frank.
I like Gary Frank's older Hulk work compared to his modern-day stuff. And usually I like very-detailed art.
