I don't wanna get my hopes up about the Savage Hulk series. I'm remembering the Rampaging Hulk series in the `90's that was supposed to feed the classic fans -- it lasted 6 issues.
And the whole Starlin/can't use Warlock fit -- how is that going to affect his uber-hyped arc?

Actually feeling more excited about Alan Davis' work than Starlin's.

Both Hulk vs Iron Man #1 and Savage Hulk #1 were great!

It was good to see the iconic Hulk again... But Savage Hulk #1 was a let down for me. Just tehashing an old story. Oh well :/, hulk vs iron man was ok...

Anyone have or have read the Rampaging Hulk magazines? I'm on the fence about buying them. Im particularly interested in #5 and #6 where he fights Namor. I hate that it's in black and white though. Some of the later issues are in color and look great, but the whole series is non canon.. So i dunno..

Got `em all. I recommend them, canon or not.
I favor Rampaging #5 over #6, think the initial fight between Namor & Hulk is better. And the Hulk had a great line after this punch: "A little water...did that?"
