    It sure was.

"Banner" and "Hulk" ads for the Tandy computer and eye glasses....

I vaguely remember the Tandy commercials...would always wait for a Hulk-out.

Looking at all those ads and promos, the 1970s was really the green, I mean, the golden age for the Hulk.

i was watching the edwar norton hulk version and it was really good, he is one of my favorite actors, as i like the ruffalo performance it would be perfect to have him in the avengers movies and to have a continuation with his movie

I really wished they would have kept Hulk's adventures in outer space or inter-dimensional. I really enjoyed where he was after Planet Hulk and generally how Pak handled him during that run. The only Marvel writer who could maybe salvage Hulk imo among the Marvel writers is Al Ewing. Hopefully, whenever he returns the writer that takes over actually has a game plan of stories and not the crap we had after Pak left the series.

Are you enjoying Pak's work on the current Hulk then?

Not really, I stopped reading after issue five. I tend to go for more of an epic scope when reading Hulk comics and Cho's comic doesn't have the grand narrative I look for in the Hulk. I do like the dynamic between Cho and his sister though.

I haven't bought a Hulk comic in years but growing up in the 70's, it was all about the Hulk, Spider-man, & the Thing. They seemed to be the face of Marvel. All the coloring books, t-shirts, & toys seemed to feature those characters. They were the Marvel characters I first got into. I remember the Rampaging Hulk magazine! It's amazing how popular the Thing was back then.

While I wasn't alive in the 70s or most of the 80s I cut my teeth reading comics from that era. I miss how it seemed that Marvel's biggest characters were the underdogs and outcasts. Their most popular characters with fans were not the most popular in-universe. Nowadays I feel that I cannot recognize the Marvel Universe anymore.
