Though I have never been a big fan of Hulk in the comics, I wish Marvel would produce a weekly Hulk television series. I recall the one starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno. It was an excellent series.

There were plans for this a few years ago with Guillermo del Toro producing. However it seemed to not materialize, possibly because of the Disney merger and Hulk's role in the Avengers movies.

I actually think something like this comic could make a potentially amazing Hulk movie.

Hulk vs. a ton of monsters and horrors (probably want to make them Gamma monsters instead of aliens) with a big bad like the Leader or Xemu at the end. Feed characterization for both Hulk and Banner, with uncut flashbacks to the horror of his father's abuse and you would have something that is recognizably a superhero movie while being distinct from anything that's out.
