Whoever used to ink his stuff had creamier lines.
That or his pencils became for sketchy as well.

Cam Smith was inking his work back in the day. Definitely softened his work.

And Cam's work also did wonders on Adam Kubert's art during his Wolverine run...

Any who is reading the main Hulk book happy about Waids departure? I think he lacked the certain passion of some of the more successful Hulk scribes of the past, I hope Duggan can step-up and write a solid Hulk run. I personally am looking forward to Starlin on Savage Hulk. FYI Starlin on his facebook has confirmed that he has plans to stay with Marvel and do more work for them ( I hope he gets another chance to write the Hulk).

As much as a Waid fan that I am, his heart just didn't seem to be in Hulk like it was with Daredevil.
Don't get me wrong, he had some neat ideas and nice moments... but Hulk just isn't for him.

It also looks like this new run might 'clean house' a bit, possibly meaning the end of the other Hulks such as Ross/Skaar/Lyra etc.

I do wonder how will Duggan try to do the "Children" of the Hulk in his run ?

Hulk approve of this thread. Was re-reading Infinity Gauntlet recently and enjoyed this conversation with an old sparring partner.

That was a great scene showcasing the similarities between the two of them.

It's great because it's the kind of thing you hear from fighters and many other types of competitors all of the time. Even when two rivals hate each other there is a certain level of camaraderie and respect that is developed between them because they've pushed each other and learned things about themselves and each other that no one else on the outside understands.
