    Default I need a new series to start! What do you think?

    I'm in need of a new series to start. If you could recommend me a few that are somewhat serious (as Im already reading lighthearted ones) I would be forever grateful!

    So some of my favourites are..
    The Boys (finished)
    Preacher (finished)
    Sweet Tooth (one volume away from finishing)
    The Walking Dead (ongoing)
    Deadpool (just started)
    Harley Quinn (ongoing)

    Plus I've been known to enjoy some Batman comics like The Killing Joke, Death of the family and Court Of Owls. Read the first volume of Hellblazer and wasn't blown away so unsure about carrying on, same with Bedlam.

    Punisher Max by Jason Aaron....22 issues. Kingpin gets gang-raped by 5 dudes in jail and Bullseye is at his hardcore best. If you like that one you can then move on the Garth Ennis run which was about 75 issues.

    Fear Agent and Black Science by Rick Remender;
    Scalped, Men of Wrath, and Southern Bastards by Jason Aaron;
    Criminal, Captain America, The Fade out by Ed Brubaker;
    IDW's TMNT;
    and Darwyn Cooke's Parker are some favorites of mine. Mark Waid's Daredevil is pretty steller too.

    Edit: Also Cullen Bunn's Sixth Gun series. It kicks ass.

    Squirrel Girl
    Love and Rockets
    Flash Gordon by Jeff Parker (I need to put it that way as several publishers are releasing FG comics currently)
    Ms Marvel
    Archer & Armstrong
