iZombie - CW TV Series

Opening titles were amazing, and some nice quirkiness, good moments.

Taking memories and characteristics of the dead was good, my hook into this as it were, and the latter a further pull.

Sort of gruesome at points, and was worried Liv'd end up eating your mans' brain at the end, but very nice effect with the change of red to regular, in eyes.

Wonder what'll happen next week, when, as seen, her eyes go red, and seems she's more in a brain eating, possibly person eating mood, and say someone like Babineaux, as this week he was, wasn't there.

Would she stop herself, would she get a phone call, interrupted by a family member, or friend?

Ravi stopping her, or perhaps getting eaten?

And, where will this vision with the other zombie go, I wonder?

Does she see him because he turned her, because he scratched her when he was turned?

And, how did Liv inadvertingly cause the outbreak?

This pilot made me happy. Liv is adorable, and I could watch a full hour of nothing but her reactions. The use of Allred's art for the intro is a nice touch.

Very nice indeed, yes.

And, as opposed to the usual thing with some CW comic, or action, shows, be they Arrow, The Tomorrow People, or The Flash, has the usual of each episode, of the show, the setup, explained with the opening credits, which was a very nice touch.

I like the show
Rob Thomas said he wasn't trying to make a zombie veronica mars but in the end that's what it turned out to be and that was a good thing.
I'm gonna miss the scooby gang aspect of the comics but this is good too

Finally caught the pilot. I've never read the comic but I enjoyed the show. I will stick with it.

I don't know why I thought of this but-the brains she eats, I wonder if that was some shrimp that the prop dept. prepared a special way. I enjoy adding shrimp to crappy Ramen with some sriracha and it reminded me of that!

I had the same thought. It did resemble shrimp.

Really enjoyed the comic and thought she really looked the part but IMO the show is maybe a 5/10 and has NONE of the feel out of the comic (which had a "Being Human" vibe to it) dumbing it down to a supernatural cop show.

Well, another CW show, Supernatural, was mostly a supernatural procedural, with story bits.

This could be that, or develop into something much more than what it so far is. To be sure, 12 more episodes to go, this Season, so who knows where it might go?

Sure, some shows have gone from serialized to episode, others episodic to serialized, so maybe that'll happen here.

Or, like I said, something different to how it now seems.

I haven't watched a show that made me so happy in a long time. Flash got me really excited and geeked out, but iZombie just put a smile on my face.

I love that scene.
If this show were nothing more than Liv, the cop, and the doctor, I would still be happy. They're pretty much what made me fall in love with iZombie.
