He can fry Darcy Lewis along with him.

Marvel apparently haven't forgiven Portman for her objection to Patti Jenkins' firing, judging by how both the actress and her character have been treated post Thor 1.

    Here is what I'm thinking...
    Ultron kills Thor here...
stark feels responsible and with loki on the thrown no one is sent to recover thor's body, His body won't decay...
In civil war Stark brings him back to life with cybernetics to fight on his side of the conflict. He is defeated or deactivated.
In Thor 3 his actual soul is returned/conjured from hel/valhala giving him a full new regenerated body.

Not sure why, but one of the first thoughts that came to my head after seeing the pool lady was about the 'Thor dies' fan-theory. Made me wonder if she's undergone the Heimdall treatment, and is Hela or someone? More prep for Ragnarok...

I really didn't need another reason to see this movie, but this certainly doesn't hurt. I'll just say that it looks like it's going to lay the groundwork for Civil War. Tony Stark is going to be the one that activates Ultron and Captain America is going to be the one that has to stop him. I just hope that this time it doesn't end with one of them being needlessly shot.

Ultron's CGI looks a little shakier here and the Hulk vs Hulkbuster actually looks quite corny.
Isn't that the same thing people said about the first one?

I find it odd that people are complaining about the Ultron drones being Tony's armored fleet. I mean you think he's just going to manufacture an army of robotic drones without Tony noticing something is up??

That post makes it read like he's predisposed to dislike Whedon's Avengers.

The CGI is dodgy but there's no way they're going to let it go out like that.

Big fan of Spader so looking forward to seeing how he does as Ultron. Looking forward to the film but I personally prefer the first trailer.

    Not that I can recall.

Not the case at all. I was fine with Whedon even after seeing the Avengers. I started to dislike it after rewatches, disappointed with how everyone had the same "snarky" dialogue, everything looked like a TV movie and Black Widow was clearly Whedon's pet character. Much of her dialogue would sound the same in Buffy's mouth.

That's when I lost confidence in Whedon's writing and directing and this trailer doesn't do much to sway me in the other direction.

As long as they don't turn it into a teen comedy I don't mind. They ruined Thor 2 with inane humour.
