Don Heck was an interesting artist. He was obviously skilled but it seemed he was forced into doing a style ( Kirby influenced Marvel slugfest heroes) that wasn't the best fit for him. When characters are standing around or talking his art looks great, but when they're supposed to be doing over the top action they look very stiff and awkward.

This is the beginning when Natasha took a few leaps forward as a super, improved fighting and enhanced abilities. I love the look, the long hair, and the descriptiveness where the reader can tell her Widow's line has fired or her Widow's Bite has been discharged. Classic!
