Barry seems really dorky right there so I'm digging it. The effects are actually looking pretty solid for a CW show too so that's also a plus.

Kinda dorky, but looks like he's REALLY excited about having powers.

    I can accept that.

Well, Barry always did seem like the kind of guy who would relish in obtaining powers after years of admiring superheroes on the page. That's pretty much the core of his character.

Eh, I don't know about this. I'm the first guy to say that doesn't want Barry being portrayed as boring but this still doesn't seem that much like Barry Allen.

Yeah, but I don't think it would be to this extreme.

I like the efficience on making Barry much dorkier then his comic counterpart, It helps make him stand out more from Jay and Wally.

I agree that it probably wouldn't be this extreme, but this a TV show we're dealing with here. They probably amped up the quirkiness factor to 10 in order to appeal to a mainstream audience more.

Thanks man! I was beginning to get bored of my Barry/Hal avatar and decided a change was in order.

I like Barry portrayed as a nerdy fanboy. It gives him a recognizable personality. He seems to be the new Peter Parker of the DCU. Nerdy average joe who gains confidence when's he's in costume using his amazing powers.

Not bad. I still think the costume looks too dark, but the yellow on it really pops.

I like what I'm seeing. Pretty decent effects, too.

I still don't like the suit but I like what they're doing personality-wise. Mind you, I still haven't really gotten into Arrow. I've only seen the first couple of episodes and I wasn't overly impressed. I especially don't like the sub-Batman characterization of Ollie (which is now especially odd since their take on Barry seems to be right on the money). Does it get better?

This season has been pretty cool and the season finale didn't disappoint.
