New Star Wars - how many different covers did you get?

I've heard there are 69* in all. As much as I like variants and Star Wars I settled for just 2, the Campbell 1:50 and Alex Ross 1:50, since I'm getting them from my dealer without the premium attached.

I've heard one report about Star Wars #1 being the first comic to top 1m sales since Batman 500 over 20 years ago, can someone confirm that too?

I only have the movie editions from the previous 1977 Marvel series...

Right-ho, then. I got two: the standard, and the Keown which was exclusive to my shop. If I bump into Aaron and Cassady at a con, I'll get them to sign them.

Would have loved to have gotten the Ross variant, but not $50-loved.

I've seen it priced at closer to $30...Midtown has it for $25.50.

As it's 50:1, I'm estimating about 5000 copies or so.

I got the regular one and then the "action figure" cover was just too fun of an idea and cost the same as any other comics so I ordered that one too.

I'll read the regular one and just leave the variant in the bag.

I liked the one where they were shutting out the green rabbit guy but that was pricey.

So far I have 15. I was able to score the 1:100 Quesada for cheap so I had to pull the trigger. I hate the idea of variants too but I just love Star Wars too damn much. I will prolly buy about 30 before I realize how trivial the whole idea of trying to collect them all will be...(sigh)...

I'm going to wait for a few months to pass so they can start popping up on Ebay. But I already have the original cover and a variant. But my goal is to get all the Scottie Young variant covers for these three books. I love Scottie Young's work and I think he makes the best variants in the biz.

The Scottie Young variant is easily one of my favorites. Was anyone else able to get the lithograph that came with a purchase from your LCS?!?!
