Is there a list soewhere about which stories/issues are the most worth getting? There is so much, i have to cherrypick. Are they all blanc and white?

these are all rubbish comics, the artwork is non-existent and the stories are all repetitive. Why would you want these? Anyway, try Amazon. They've got a bunch of collected editions.

It's certainly not a great series, but I wouldn't say it's all rubbish. For one, there's a lot of John Ridgway art, and Ian Kennedy's covers are usually interesting.

Much better off pursuing Battle, though. Especially Charley's War.

I was thinking about checking into this recently, what I was thinking was the best bet, would be to check which stories have been recently collected.

"Six of the Best Commando RAF Books"
"Six of the Best Commando Navy Books"
"Six of the Best Commando Mission Books"

etc, etc

But yeah, Commando doesn't seem that great from what I've read to be honest, as someone mentioned earlier, "Battle" was a much better comic.
