1st series by Jack Kirby got cancelled. 2nd series (continued the numbering from the 1st series) was by Steve Englehart and Marshall Rogers and did have ads.

I love Mr. Miracle! One of my favorite Kirby characters. While I think World's End has been a train wreck it's nice to see DC giving Scott a push. Glad to hear about Johns' having plans for the character. But you can't have Mr. Miracle without Barda. I hope Johns adds her to the League as well. I heard that she's currently a villain in World's End. I dropped the book after a few issues. Hopefully she comes to her senses soon.
