Episode 5 "The Night Room" Tom Noonan removing Cole's fingernail looked brutal. The special effects makeup for the decomposed corpse that contained the virus was excellent. Great cliffhanger.

"It is wrong to assume that art needs the spectator in order to be. The film runs on without any eyes. The spectator cannot exist without it. It ensures his existence." -- James Douglas Morrison
12 Monkeys has been renewed for a 2nd Season:

Good. I started watching this series expecting to be disappointed in comparison to the movie but it has been entertaining and strays enough from the movie to stand on its own.
Anyone else watching this season?
Its time travel done right (Flash should take some pointers)

In a time when Game of Thrones, The Americans, Ray Donovan, Peaky Blinders and American Gods are on TV, it really speaks a lot that 12 Monkeys is my favorite show. The show is so good, the characters are compelling and the actors who play them are really good, the writing team is on point, we can se that every thing is plan really well.
So, I love the movie and it's one of my favorites. Just finished the show a couple of days ago and wow...what a ride. A lot of great emotional moments. I thought it was a great show and would watch it again.
Season 3 is my favorite. I rewatch it from time to time.
