Episode 5 "The Night Room" Tom Noonan removing Cole's fingernail looked brutal. The special effects makeup for the decomposed corpse that contained the virus was excellent. Great cliffhanger.

Good. I started watching this series expecting to be disappointed in comparison to the movie but it has been entertaining and strays enough from the movie to stand on its own.

In a time when Game of Thrones, The Americans, Ray Donovan, Peaky Blinders and American Gods are on TV, it really speaks a lot that 12 Monkeys is my favorite show. The show is so good, the characters are compelling and the actors who play them are really good, the writing team is on point, we can se that every thing is plan really well.

    Default 12 Monkeys tv show

So, I love the movie and it's one of my favorites. Just finished the show a couple of days ago and wow...what a ride. A lot of great emotional moments. I thought it was a great show and would watch it again.

But have you seen the 1962 short it's based on La Jetee
It's one of MY favourites and I didn't think much of the Gilliam remake of it

I mean, I knew that's what it was based on, but no I haven't seen it. Kind of surprising you didn't think much of Gilliam's movie. One of Bruce and Brad's best roles
