Mine would be Superman From the 30s to the 70s



Got one similar to this condition (slightly worn dust jacket) for less than $10 and it was strictly reading material. I don't think I'll ever own originals of all the classic Superman books prior to 1970s although I'd like to.

I think this one has been around since the 70s.

I think it was the DNA Guardians of the galaxy phc v1 and 4. Sold them since then unfortunately but at least I now their new owner apreciates them.

I found these boards when I was first getting interested in comics, so I knew right away that I wanted my collection to be OHCs.

My first HC was the New 52 Wonder Woman vol. 4 I picked up the first trade, blazed through it and loved it so much I had to go get vol 2-4 (5 wasn't out yet, and 4 was only out in HC form at the time).

After a while buying paperbacks with allowances and whatnot, I remember my very first hardcover was the PHC of Spider-Man: Reign, bought with part of my first salary as well.
I remember I told myself I would only buy hardcover versions of what I then considered my three favorite Spider-Man "miniseries" (Kraven's Last Hunt -I'm aware it's not a mini...-, Blue and the aforementioned Reign), because I wanted them in a deluxe format of sorts.

After that, to put it lightly, I was hooked.
I still don't have the Blue OHC

Mine was the Blackest Night HC. I found it in a large comic store in New York in 2010 and that was the comic that brought me back into collecting comics after a 15-20 year break. My collection has since been growing on a ridiculous pace. Thanks to Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis!
