New X-Factor: Maddox, Layla Miller, Hellion, Surge, Anole, Rocklide, Match, Cipher, X-23, Pixie and the Stepford Cuckoos.

Basically, after the fallout of the Will of Xavier arc, the NXM figure they're better off without their so called teachers, and have decided to try, and help, mutant-kind in their own way. Thus New X-Factor. I feel like if anybody could benefit from a team like this, it would be X-23; learning that she can help people without becoming a weapon to do it, and seeing people appreciate her as a person would do wonders for her social skills. It's a much more healthy environment for these young heroes to learn how to better their society on their own, and with being constantly handholded, or held back. The de fact leaders would be Hellion, Surge and Anole; Hellion being the charismatic face of the group, with Surge to reign him back in if he gets too big-headed, and Anole mainly because he takes care of the finances and pays for the living quarters. The Cuckoos join later, after a crossover arc. Maddox and Layla show after 10, or so issues, to show them ropes after a rocky start, before departing. Book would have Hawkeye meets X-Factor meets Teen Titans feel to it. Also, Rockslide goes to college.

Some of this will be a rehash of thecrimson's thread, or earlier idea threads if you've been in the forum for a while, but:

In the wake of <event I wouldn't write> the X-Men have mended the schism (if not the interpersonal relations). Angel's memories are returned (along with a secondary mutation: his hair has healing properties), the O5 are home, and Charles Xavier and Wolverine are alive. The school is rebuilt with Kitty Pryde as the headmistress. The franchise flows into the following books:

Astonishing X-Men: typical superheroics. Work and live out of the school's second floor. (Nightcrawler-leader, Colossus, Magik, Blink, Rachel, Mercury, X-23, Jubilee)

Uncanny X-Men: originally based out of a spaceship until they learn to settle their differences, they now work out of the second basement level of the school. Work to prevent antimutant crimes. (Rogue-leader, Magneto {Polaris after the first arc}, Prof. X, Cyclops, Wolverine, Beast, Chamber, Iceman. Danger is technically a member, operating their computers).

X-Acadmey: the school and its staff. Operate on the first floor and basement of the school (the basement has the faculty commons for all teams). Teach new mutants to use their powers. (Emma Frost, Storm, Forge, Havok, and Armor are the primary staff featured in the book, Angel and some others are substitutes in the first arc. Several characters from other books are either teachers or walk-on cameos.)

X-Force: espionage team. Does not officially exist. Keeps tags on mutant threats and the safety of X-teams. (Mystique-leader, Gambit, Negasonic Warhead, Famtomex, and sometimes Deadpool). Only Professor Pryde and, after an incident, the Uncanny team, know about them.

Basically, Astonishing fights the Sentinels that exist, Uncanny makes sure no more get made, and Force provides the Intel to each, discreetly.

Other teams with mutants on them.
-Uncanny Avengers: the Young Avengers team (I hate the name Young Avengers) that contains a mix of heroes.
-Secret Avengers: A team made up of the leaders of the Inhumans, Avengers, and X-Men plus envoys from the Uncanny Avengers, Fantastic Four (spoilers, it's Thing) and Guardians of the Galaxy.
-Dazzler is a SHIELD agent, and appears where they do.

I'd have three books. The casts would be like the old days and stay in their own damn books not counting guest appearances. We have too many X-Men running around traipsing through nearly all of the books. This would also assume that some kind of event precedes my run (haha) and puts toys back in the box.

Uncanny X-Men - Globe trotting team of Nightcrawler, Rachel, Kitty, Mercury, Rockslide, Spiral, and Madrox. They set up somewhere outside of the US (return to England or Australia maybe?) and travel all over the world taking care of problems outside of the US.

X-Men - Young time displaced Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel, Beast, and Iceman - I realize people don't care for them, but they're part of the mythos now. They leave the school to strike out on their own. Maybe it could have something to do with their present day selves disappearing. There's so much potential and I think Bendis is doing good with them, but it's dragging along too slow. They can interact with non-X villains and heroes as they set up in NYC.

X-Men University - The school. Xavier (who is somehow resurrected by this point) and Magneto run the school together and have a stable teaching staff (NOT using characters from the other books) and all of the students are fair game. Each issue or arc of issues focuses on a different group of students.

Actually, everyone I've ever asked says it gets rather vague after Necrosha. So on a sliding scale she's less dead than Wolverine. Plus, we need to use the word Negasonic more often. Plus, imagine how happy Emma will be.

If you want to make Emma happy go fish the TO infected Hellions off the coast of Utopia and cure them before they show up eating people.

    Book based on the Braddocks.
Title would be along the lines of Excalibur, Darkmoor, Otherworld, Captain Britain, etc.

First arc would focus on Kwannon being alive again, who brought her back and why, keep the arcs at 4 issues. The person who brought her back would have been Merlyn, himself reborn.
Second arc would be a part two of the first, With Kwannon now Queen of Otherworld, Where does that leave the Braddocks. It appears that a familiar foe is working the strings.
Third Arc Would focus on the return of the true heirs and their quest to reclaim the birthright of the Amulet and Sword. Kwannon is accepted into the family, and the drama really begins as Pete Wisdom pops in for a visit.

Then after the the first arc, I'd devote a single issue to each character, but have them all tie into the next arc of the series.
Year two would have it be.
Captain Britain, and the fall out from the Revolutionary War
Megan and her time in hell
Kwannon and her time being dead and her old family life.
Betsy and her time as a member of X-force, the various teams (excluding bumphries like 3 days)

Each Story will be a lead into the next arc, Cult of Personality.
Mid year would feature the Braddocks Reestablishing themselves as the go to team for the UK, but a new set of foes has plans to derail them, in the press.

    Fall-Winter, Split dimensions.
After the Bad Publicity and repair by an old ally, the arrival of Camelot in Great Britain brings all the fools who claim Arthurian lineage to the fore. As the Family work on that problem, The Hand returns to claim their wayward daughters.

3rd year War in the UK.
After the King is crowned in Camelot, The Hand continue to make moves to discredit and take out the Braddocks, But allies in the form of Adam Destine and his clan lend a hand along with the Knights of Pendragon.
Kwannon's father makes a return after helping end the war, his return serves as mixed emotions when a secret from deep in the Braddock household is revealed.
After a time of trials, tribulations, and familial secrets, the clan take a much needed vacation.. yeah a vacation... Cross Time Caper redux, Braddock Style.
