Of course Millar endorsed it. He's PAID to, given his job with Fox.

He knows more about the film than we do though. In fact, we know nothing and still slam it.

What we used to call life has very little worth these days. Welcome to the very edge.

Would that include giving us something that even remotely resembles the comics?

Just because Doom is a hacker does not mean it's not gonna resemble the comics. It's impossible to judge this film yet.

Yeah it pretty much does actually.

Being unlike anything anyone would anticipate is not a particularly ringing endorsement of a superhero film.

Very true, and though I'm not super excited, this could be funny, could be good, could be something worth watching.

More to the point, though it seems like Millar has very much gotten his groove back recently, I can't say I trust what he thinks of this at all. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't his FF work met with, at very best, apathy, if not outright hostility?

Isn't the hostility because of his cynical take on superheroes?

Didn't think his Fantastic Four was that bad, really, but yeah, could've been cheerier, more upbeat, but still, very epic art, large in scope, good twists, all that.

If Hickman gives it an endorsement i would interested, or Waid.
The guy who wrote a really bad FF liking it doesn't fill me with hope.
