PREVIEW: Uncanny Avengers, #1

Good preview. Still don't like the massive retconning that's needed for this story. I'll still give it a chance. I get why Marvel is doing this. They want it line it up with the movie. They say they're not. They're lying, either overtly or covertly. There's just no way around it. If they can make this awesome somehow, I'll be all for it. But if they can't, I'm done with this series and I'll wait for the next relaunch/retcon.

Kind of made my points on the recon when it came-out, so rather not rehash those post of mine at this point. Rather, I like to see now where they go with this, it is both painful and very-curious at the same-time what in the world they will do with this recon; What are the twins state of mine? What is Counter-Earth and Why might it hold answers for Them? What, if any, is High Evolutionary's part in all of this. Right now I am very curious myself to see what Marvel comes up with, not RR, Marvel, cause this is Marvel's course choice.

And to think! We went from the Excellence that is PAD's writing of Pietro, to this.

I'm not sure if I am going to get this and read it monthly, trade wait it, or just not bother.

Remender's writing on this series really irks me.

And half the time I cannot even figure out what he hell is going on.

I think we're all fairly used to Pietro being a stick in the mud in recent years, so seeing this more playful, less angsty side is.... unusual.

He was anything BUT a stick in the mud in All New X-Factor.

I think that is why just this opening page was so fun, it made me realized if RR can make Pietro into his more light-hearten character, serious at times when it call for it indeed, more be more comedic like he can be, then RR is going to make a fun read writing Pietro IMO.

It just hit me, Pietro is a twin, and dealing with alien races in a cantina. Luke Skywalker is a twin, and dealt with aliens in the Mos Eisley cantina.

So those ARE the High Evolutionary/Knights of Wundagore animal people that I've only read about in Quicksilver's 90s solo?

Well, they appear to be animal people/animal men.
So, it would make sense. Especially since those animal people were directly involved in Pietro and Wanda's lives due to Bova.

Indeed, I 1st just wanted to focus on the Bar Scene image 1st, seemed rather funny and clever, LOL.

But yea, you are right about that........in fact.......That is a REALLY GOOD Observational fine Ravin' Ray! The mirror of both is just to strange of a coincidence; Many Dr. Doom Fans feel Darth Vader was model after Doom. I wonder now allot about Lucas's inspirations of Vader and the Kids now!

Hey Mahes, Indeed, the last few days with the premiere date coming soon, a Preview was Bond to show-up soon and I wanted to pump on to give my 2 cents about it too, LOL!

So far the Intro has me interested, not sure if these pages are the opening ones or a few in, but so far it has me interested. The Main points now is how the New Team forms, Why and Since Rogue is said to be leader of that formation, how she does that will be my interest in Issue #1!
