Wow. 8 panels that go absolutely nowhere. No wonder this arc has dragged out so long.

And I'm still trying to wrap my head around how this does NOT screw with the O5 in the present, since clearly whenever this is is after Xavier recruits them in the first place.

Is this is the final issue of the arc or do we have another issue or two of it? As expected, the art team is doing quite well.

This arc has dragged so badly that I don't think the teaser even applies anymore. We know Cyclops' death is not going to stick. He's in all the promos for Secret Wars. Now despite a painfully slow plot, it's only going to be resolved with the comic book equivalent of a cheat code in a video game. Go figure. I get the sense that this is just one of those stories that the writer lost control of and he's trying to salvage it in a way that won't disrupt the upcoming events involving Secret Wars.

Bendis is dragging it out a little too long imo. Maria Hill reaction is kind of strange. Take out Matthew Malloy with a missile barrage. Shield went with overkill cranked to a factor of 20. She freaking out that they killed off Cyclops and the members of his team as well. Kind of a little late to worry about collatoral damage don't you think.

I hope your wrong about Mystique. I like the character. But it's just going to be too much if it's yet once again another one of her plots and schemes. With of course no none noticing and expecting it. As for Dazzler abs yeah it looks like cutting her hair. Dying it black and getting a angry outlook on life means more muscles lol.

As for Tempus and the character being killed off. It's only going to happen if she is unpopular with a signficant amount of the fanbase. Which imo she is not. Not to mention more character deserving of death. Snot, Glob come to mind.

I like how Maria Hill gives no f### about the HR/PR nightmare that the Dazzler situation could have been turned into for SHIELD, never brings it up, but still employs mutant after mutant to take care of mutants. what a dumb ass.
