Did people have a problem with kara on smallville?
And i think that people will have problems whether the costume is too sexy or too conservative. There would be complaints about both.

They should stick with the skirt. It's a distinct aspect for Supergirl's good costumes.

I liked her in Glee but seeing her in the 'superhero' Glee episode and the nude screen-shots from Homeland she seems a bit, scrawny.

i thought that too from her acting on glee, until her hardcore, uh, "out of costume?" photos showed up in that giant celebrity nude hack back in September. I do hope this show turns out good though. My feeling is that if it doesn't do well CBS will kill it instead of letting it limp on, which is what the CW would let it do (though admittedly the last two CW superhero properties have been way better than previous stabs).

DC properties on tv have always done well. Smallville had solid ratings despite it being on fridays. Supernatural was paired with Smallville for the last few seasons and they were mostly the top few shows in CW.
Right now Flash and Arrow are the top 2 shows in CW, so I don't see CW allowing any of the DC shows to limp on.

I love that. Just slap on an 'S' and a cape and I'd be perfectly fine with that being Supergirl's costume for the show.
