I have no speech. No name. I live in the action of death. The blood-cry, the penetrating wound. I am destruction.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7.../penance-1.jpg

I hope this is a Bova centric story.
Buffy . Saga . Wicked & Divine . East of West . Magneto . Daredevil . Secret Avengers . She Hulk . Elektra . Black Widow . Ms Marvel . Thor
Yes, Quicksilver is not 17 years old, either. Or at least he never used to be. I'm...I'm not quite sure what he's supposed to be anymore.
This is the Quicksilver I know, in battle.

I didnt read any haughty, formal speech inflection in that panel.
I feel absolutely nothing but contempt about this story arc. It's literally another of those cases of telling a story that nobody but them actually asked for. Whether they like it or not, it's basically been universally accepted in every medium but the MCU that Wanda and Pietro are Magneto's kids. This kind of change is a terrible way to start off the new volume of the book.
I'm going to call Wanda "Dumpster Baby" from now on.
Here's something else to consider: since English is Pietro's second language, I think it makes more sense for him to have a "formal" way of speaking. English is my second language, and I've been speaking it for a LOOOONG time, even so I still have an accent. With my accent, I don't feel comfortable saying things like "ya" for "you" or "'em" for "them".
Also, mimicking bad guys like that is more of a thing Spider-man would do. Spider-man has that goofy / slapstick humor whereas Pietro is a lot more sarcastic and dry...It's a different type of humor which I'm not really seeing here.
