Alexandra Shipp makes me think they are trying to get a young Halle Berry. So no, I don't really care for it.

I love the casting for Jean. Scott and Ororo? meh.

I just hope they get focus and good character development and aren't pushed to the sidelines for the rumored "Magneto and Mystique" romance.

I dont really know anything about Storm or Scotts actors, so its hard to say.

On paper Sophie is a solid cast for Jean, but well see how she pulls it out. Its gonna be weird to hear her without the accent.

Sophie's English. I fail to see how she can accurately capture the uniquely American, wholly obnoxious sense of self righteous entitlement that is the essence of Jean Grey.

This is what I am excited about! Sophie is 5'9", gorgeous, and can do an American accent. To be fair, Famke isn't American either. Don't know much about the other actors but I will give them a shot. I am hoping Alexandra gets a tan, and sports some punk for this movie. Looking forward to Tye's transformation into Scott Summers.
