There was definitely set up for Babs in V1 regarding that Batgirl drawing. I'd been super keen on different take on Babs.“At some point and I don’t want to get into what Volume 3 is about, but at some point of course we’re going to get The Joker. We have to do that! And we have big plans for Batgirl. We actually even talked about the potential of of maybe Batgirl getting her own graphic novel. […]Batgirl Earth One would be a lot of fun.”

Yeah I've seen a quote about that for a few years. It just never came to fruition or something. But it's cool Geoff Johns has shown interest in her.
