The bad press must have really gotten to WB if they had to have IGN report on Kevin Conroy's true last (and probably far more respectful) roles in future projects.

I don't get one thing - what audience is the studio even targeting with this game?
Typical live service game audience won't play it, because they have better options, game is boring and generic.
Superheroes' fans were always going to hate this game with passion. Devs, studio, defenders of this game like Miller can complain as much as they want about comicbook fans being ''toxic *******s, who take everything too personal, who don't care about vision and don't want to just have some fun'', doesn't change the fact, that this audience was never going to like this, especially with it being Arkhamverse.
Really, who the hell thought it was a good idea?

That just seems to be the MO of so many creators and producers these days: make bad product, then blame the fans when they don't like things. I mean, they're not 100% wrong, but it's a zero-accountability response.

For the record the team that made Suidie Squad is not the same team that made the Arkham games, all those people have left in the intervening decade. In the cast list the game shares not a single writer with the Arkham trilogy.

Actually one of the Rocksteady heads and former staff have since left to form their own studio.

Which explains a lot of contradictions like Harley's depiction, Arkham Harley was completely in love with Joker and loyal to him even after his death in Arkham Knight. But Suicide Squad writes her as completely over him for some reason, so its probable that the game was written by stans of modern Harley.

Injustice at least was a good game and fun as hell. I'm not sure if Suicide Squad will even reach that based on how they're only giving review codes the day the game comes out

Which explains a lot of contradictions like Harley's depiction, Arkham Harley was completely in love with Joker and loyal to him even after his death in Arkham Knight. But Suicide Squad writes her as completely over him for some reason, so its probable that the game was written by stans of modern Harley.

They did the same thing with the Batman: The Adventure Continues DCAU comic where they write Harley as being over The Joker and with Ivy even though we all know she ends up getting back with him and experimenting on Tim Drake so what's even the point?

Though it's kind of funny how Batwheels, a preschool cartoon, actually has a Joker and Harley that's a couple.
