I thought that might be the case. It looks like the character designer of Killing Joke or Gotham by Gaslight.

I was kind of looking forward to seeing how Bourassa would redesign the Five and the Legion characters who are likely to be in this movie, but these designs are good. I'm curious if the League will see a design overhaul too or just have the same costumes as Bourassa but in a different style.

They resemble the JL cartoon version. I wonder if this is in the New 52 Universe.

Probably same costumes, different style. I doubt they would want to go through any redesigns.

Especially depending on how many members of the League are in this...

Although I wouldn't be surprised if some characters start sporting Rebirth costumes (especially Wonder Woman).

Wonder if JL v FF would turn out to be the rumored JLU reunion since Timm apparently seems to be involved with it. After Batman and Harley Quinn last year, it would only make sense.

I haven't seen it yet, but it was part of the DCAU, so if Timm is involved, it makes sense to do another movie set in that timeline.

I think this being another DCAU follow up like Batman and Harley Quinn seems more likely given the art style. I feel like the only reason the new 52 movies has a shared continuity to begin with is because of the convenience of reusing the same art style. So I don’t think they’ll bother if that’s not a factor this time around.

Looking at the image again, and particularly Emerald Empress' face, the art kind of resembles the one for Gotham by Gaslight, while Batman and Harley Quinn used the original DCAU animation style. Not that it matters, it could still likely end up being a DCAU movie, just thought it looked interesting.

She has a long battle skirt but that's about as Rebirth as it gets.
