402k for the March 17th episode.

We don't get the numbers for the demo they're focusing on (kids) in the chart and I don't have numbers to compare it to the previous show.

Is that good or bad? Didn't JLA and YJ get better numbers? Then again those were years ago
Done with DC. Can't handle the constant whiplash! Time to go on a hiatus!

I don't know. I'm not sure what ratings are/were like for CN shows in general. I don't really follow the channel. I'll try to find some numbers for anyone interested, though.

Apparently JLA did get better ratings. However this show may live off its toys.

Thank you. That doesn't seem very good. Pretty sure the episodes for the recent animated JL Action tv series got similar ratings/viewership #s. Maybe more people watch it eventually.

I mean, there's merchandise, graphic novels, toys/dolls, etc., that are also probably a factor.

I think it should also be taken into account that less people are watching cable these days and CN also takes into account streaming on their app.

I found the JLA ratings. Didn't bother with YJ because it's so far back and it was canceled due to lack of toy sales, so the ratings would be irrelevant.

As it was already mentioned, DC Super Hero Girls' big determining factor is probably the toys and other merch. I thought it was said somewhere that those were doing well. If so, the show will likely get a 2nd season based on that alone. Also, again, we don't have the specific numbers for the demo they want to see watching.
It helps that WB owns the network. Think like Power Rangers, except PR is not owned by the same company that owns Nick.

    Here's the JLA ratings list:
*Note- Aside from the premiere and eps 47-52, episodes were consistently on Saturday mornings otherwise. Also, I think in some cases episodes appeared online first before airing.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ction_episodes (the rating sources are all the ones I used, except May 20, 2017's link is wrong. This is the right one).

    1.106k (episodes 1-4), 654k, 761k, 879k, 830k, 749k, 827k, 906k, 736k, 667k, 632k, 623k, 787k, 734k, 577k, 658k, 664k, 605k (episodes 21-22), 759k, 676k, 638k, 622k, 678k, 659k, 556k, 594k, 456k (7:00am airing), 719k, 519k, 543k, 599k, 642k, 518k, 565k, 559k, 583k, 636k, 586k, 627k, 537k, 686k, 519k, 440k (6:15am airing), 410k, 407k, 410k, 571k, 463k

thaks again. I personally think CN didn't promot the JL Action cartoon well, and the time slot was so early in the morning and the shows too short, there was no time to tell a proper story. 20 mins each ep would work best and flesh out the story, imo. I really liked those character designs.

I think JLA actually utilized it's shorter run-time as effectively as it could.

There's no way they were going to get a 20-minute action cartoon on CN in the current climate.

Static Shock had ratings of 3-5 million viewers during its run. Yet could not get a toy deal. Just thought I say that...

Those are NOT good numbers for Cartoon Network or Adult Swim because that is almost half of Justice League Action had in 2017.

Teen Titans Go, Gumball, Regular Show, Clarence averaged 1.5-900 in viewers.

Boondocks had 1 million to 900K in its last season.

Again, the barometer for ratings are very different now then what they were back when Cable was king.
