Jared Stern, who wrote the Lego Batman and Ninjago movies is slated to write and direct the film.

At first I thought this was a safe direct to video, but it looks to be a theatrical. Without knowing how it'll play out can't say much. Hope it's closer to the LEGO Movie stuff than Teen Titans Go.

So this Death of Superman movie doesn't have the people who were actually on the scene at the time--Beetle, Booster, Ice, etc.--but instead has the lame New 52 League? Pass. Though maybe it would be entertaining to see those guys get trashed...

Michael Ironside is reprising Darkseid (and this is probably the most energized I have ever heard his Darkseid).

Michael Dorn is reprising Kalibak.

Gina Torres is reprising Superwoman.

Wally Wingert is reprising Riddler.

James Arnold Taylor is Reverse-Flash (which is kind of amusing since he voices Flash in the Lego animated movies).

I like the new Flash suit, but the helmet looks a little off. Could it be the lack of a chin strap ?
