The show was designed for young pre-teen girls. Doesn't mean others can't watch it or enjoy it but...... it's weird to be so passionate against something you don't watch and isn't targeted at you

Agreed, but common sense isn't common. I saw a few episodes; it was cute for young girls to get to know these characters. It didn't require the backlash it got in some spaces. Hopefully, DC continues projects like that. Hopefully, projects aimed at younger audiences, especially attempting to engage young girls directly, continue.

I wonder if the merchandising is ending completely. Or if sales weren't that high anymore.

And, speaking of DC's few kid-aimed shows, did not realize TTGO! has been on the air for nearly ten years.

It was basically a finale movie. It resolved character arcs and plots from the show, it brought together all the villains and supporting heroes, etc.

More than that, it wrapped them all up relatively quickly, feeling like they had to rush a finale

That's not exactly new from Hollywood execs.
Mind we don't know the actual reason why the show is getting the axe, only that it is. So might not be sexist.
But yeah, wouldn't surprise me if that's the reason.

Honestly it had a longer run than Justice League Action even with all the random hiatuses and inconsistent premiering CN foisted it with, so that's something.

So RIP CW. It was sold to Nextstar. They have said that they will apply the same financial standards to CW as they would to any of their businesses. CW is the only network to not be profitable, and NEVER has been. The CW CEO is staying, at least for now. Don't know what this all means, but probably that the days of high budgets and product that barely cracks the ratings are over. And expensive DC shows are also probably done for now.

Yes, I suspect that most of the current lineup will be cancelled after this current season. We already know The Flash is ending.

I guess the question is if HBOMax might pick up anything, including the DC Shows.
