SyFy’s ‘Krypton’ Casts Braniac & Superman’s Great-Grandmother
SourceDeadline reports that Paula Malcolmson will portray Charys, matriarch of House El, who helps her son Seg-El redeem the family’s name and save a planet in chaos. Malcolmson’s character is said to be a guest role and was recast from the pilot. Meanwhile, Blake Ritson will portray one of Superman’s most infamous enemies: Brainiac, a parasitic android that seeks to carry out unethical experiments on the Universe’s sentient species.

Last season on Supergirl, they had an episode where bounty hunters from all over the universe were hunting Kara. I was very disappointed we didn't even get a Lobo reference in there. Originally Posted by Frontier

They did have Brainiac 8 last season, who preferred to be called Indigo. We are on the 3rd season and most likely will get a 4th season though, so there is still plenty of time for Brainiac to show up. Originally Posted by Frontier

Maybe because they are now using Brainiac on Krypton now DC has put him off limits for the other DC shows.
