Why do they think people are craving for yet another Death of Superman take this soon after BvS/Justice League? I thought they'd tackle Red Son, unless this movie is in continuity.

I think it's because people would like to see that story done properly, not only for the sake of putting Superman on the bench when the Justice League is first formed.

And of course because it's arguably the most popular comic story ever, so the sales would be sweet.

That's swell and all if Superman: Doomsday didn't already exist. The THIRD take on the same story in a little more than 10 years is a bit much.

They've teased the movie might actually be in the animated movie continuity.

And doing a more accurate adaption of the storyline means they can get to the characters they weren't able too in Superman: Doomsday, the other Supermen (Steel, Superboy, Eradicator, and Cyborg-Superman).

The next film after this is Reign of the Supermen.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

I'm expecting it'll put the kibbosh on the Superman/Wonder Woman relationship they developed, at any rate.
