A Monkey's Paw would explain the last 15 years of DC so well. Nu52, the DCEU being a mess, the low quality Nu52 movies, no quality cartoons besides YJ, etc.

Glad that show came out less Teen Titans Go! and more Powerpuff Girls (original one or course).

Agreed, but like I said, those last few movies of which Planet Hulk was a part of was right when they found their stride - and then it was over. I think Planet Hulk was their next to last film. Hence why it didn't find the same level of success, the first several movies were rough (Invincible Iron Man, Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme, the two Ultimate Avengers movies), the last few movies were great (Hulk Vs and Planet Hulk being the biggest standouts), and then right as we were all feeling good about it the line was dead. It'd be like if DC's DTV line ended after Under the Red Hood and Crisis on Two Earths. Sure, those were some of their best movies, and a lot of what has come out since hasn't been great quality, but out of sight out of mind.

The show is if fun and good for a younger audience but it's not something I would watch regularly.

I wish a sect of DC fans would just let the kids enjoy their own things
    Teen titans go
    Superhero girls
    Super pets
    Now aquaman
Way too many adults whining about cartoons designed to cater to kids(of course this is a discussion for comics at large as well)

    Aquamarine actually looks great
Not nearly as bad as Thundercats roar ended up being

Toons also don't need to be campy and FUN FUN FUN. A lot of us were kids during the DCAU original airings. Animation in general leans towards one way nowadays compared to the past.

Harley Quinn is the only DC animated show that wasnt made for kids.

Part of the problem is so much DC content appeal to older adults. When they do something that's actually for kids it gets messy.

You tell people not to whine about a cartoon but then whine about a cartoon?

Like I said, I don't mind these shows being what they are. They are for kids. We are not the target audience for it and DC needs a new generation to fall in love with their characters in order to keep their universe going.

Yep basically where I fall ultimately. Would be cool to get an Aquaman cartoon that appealed to me alongside appealing to kids, but they need to get the next generation invested in Aquaman over convincing adults he’s cool.
